Sean Dennis announced 2 updates to his door games, Magic Oracle and Chinese Zodiac.
"After a prolonged absence, I've finally fixed and released The Magic Oracle
v10.0. I've rewritten it completely and am using a new doorkit. If you have a
previous version of TMO, please read the documentation as it is not completely
backwards compatible with the older versions' data files."
As always, these doors are freeware.

LORD for OS/2 (alpha) released
I was given the unique opportunity a few evenings ago to test an alpha release of Legend of the Red Dragon that was using an OS/2-native EXE. To both my and Michael (Preslar, LORD's developer) suprise, it worked nicely. OS/2 sysops will notice a definite improvement in speed as well as no measurable CPU usage unlike the older DOS versions.
However, there are several caveats:
- You /HAVE/ to use DOOR32.SYS to use this door. See below for my solution for
this.
- IGMs have NOT been tested. I don't have any IGMs installed yet, so this is still in
testing (and discovery).
"Okay folks.. Lord 4.07 has been ""in the works"" for too long now. For me to release it, I have to feel comfortable that it is as bug-free as I can make it.
"Now heres the catch: I've purposely left bugs in just to see if people would report them, and no one does.
So I'm asking anyone that's willing.. Please give the 4.07 binaries a shot and report _all_ bugs to me.

Registration Prices Changed
A few registration prices have been lowered:
